Scripture tells us to,  “Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.  These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts.  Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”   (Deuteronomy 6: 5-7 NIV, 1984)

Teaching the next generation is a command and a blessing.  As parents we seek to have our children grow in the things of our Lord.

The nursery, located in the back of the Sanctuary, is available for children ages three and under and is a more informal version of Shabbat School. There are toys, books, and activities for the children to enjoy.

Shabbat School is available for children ages three and up.  Through our Shabbat School, children learn Bible stories, memorize verses, and share in each other's lives through discussion and prayer. Our goal is to make learning God's living Word fun for them knowing that their relationship with Yeshua is where they will find soul-satisfying joy. Building their relationship with Yeshua begins with studying the living Word.

We encourage parents to take an active role in developing their children's spiritual life by continuing discussions from their Shabbat School lessons. Parents can help their children learn their Bible memory verses, study Scripture, worship the Lord, and pray together as a family.

The study of Hebrew is encouraged in preparation for Bar or Bat Mitzvah training and beyond.  Beginning Hebrew studies for children and adults are available.

Studying the Scripture is a central part of our Home Groups and special studies are offered throughout the year.
